The Vip Monk Hoodie was developed after Free Peace initiator Kenji Summers completed a 10-day Vipassanā meditation course on Juneteenth 2024—100 hours of stillness and reflection distilled into design.

Its shape pulls from the cropped, boxy fit popularized in the early days of hip-hop and street art, when Black American creators redefined expression through movement and layering.

Hand-dyed in the Himalayas with red dahlia pigment, this hoodie embodies the Buddhist teachings of rebirth, compassion, and impermanence. The slightly cropped body and sleeve mirror the discipline of the robe and the freedom of the block.

Expect tonal variation and bleed over time; wash separately, hand-wash preferred, line-dry only.
